Adrenalin rush and breathtaking panoramas guaranteed on every one of these rock faces! It’s up to you to choose the spot that inspires you during your stay at our Marseille campsite.

The essential Philémon crossing (Cap Canaille, Cassis)

The Traversée Philémon is a magnificent and fairly easy Via Corda close to some of the most beautiful and protected Calanques in Marseille. Marseille. The wall of sandstone and limestone, reddened by conglomerates, can be seen from certain parts of the Phocaean city. It’s ideal for beginners (aged 10 and over), and for unforgettable family moments. Beware, however, that it can be quite long if completed in its entirety. A Via Corda is secured by ropes, whereas a Via Ferrata is generally more vertical and physical, relying on cables and rungs.

La Philémon” crosses the Soubeyrannes cliffs overlooking the bay from Cassis to the port of La Ciotat, and skirts Cap Canaille. It’s well worth the effort, as it’s reached after a hike through the garrigue. Once you’ve donned your helmet and harness, all you have to do is follow the instructors’ instructions. The Traversée Philémon will take you on a thrilling ride along the side of the cliffs, while the more adventurous will be able to tame the void. You can also admire the Grotte du 14 Juillet, an unusual recess. At the summit, admire the magic of the coastline, with an exceptional view of the bec de l’Aigle semaphore and the Parc national des Calanques .

Via Corda from Bec de Sormiou to Marseille

Allow 4 hours to complete the Via Corda du Bec de Sormiou, which starts practically on the outskirts of Marseille. Head for an overhang of land over the sea in the heart of the Parc National des Calanques. The fairly challenging route takes you into the semi-submerged Capelan cave via a zip line, abseiling along the steep cliff and over the water. The route promises plenty of adventure and incredible scenery.

From Trou Souffleur to La Ciotat by Via Corda

Another must-see Via Corda spot in Bouches-du-Rhône, facing the Mediterranean. Le Trou souffleur is just a stone’s throw from La Ciotatclose to the Calanque de Figuerolles. Get ready for a thrilling ride, both horizontally and vertically, as the Via Corda includes a 40-metre abseiling descent… 3 hours of fun between cliffs and turquoise water, to the rhythm of the zip lines. A chance to admire the Parc National des Calanques once again, accompanied by the song of the wind blowing across the relief.

Via Ferrata Sainte-Victoire a stone’s throw from Aix-en-Provence

Your guide will take you on an assault on the emblematic Sainte-Victoire massif, which stretches from Aix-en-Provence to Pourrières (Var). The Via Ferrata starts in the village of Saint-Antonin-sur-Bayon, at the foot of the mountain. It promises 4 hours in contact with rock faces, as well as thrilling abseiling and zip-line descents. It’s the perfect way to challenge yourself, gain altitude and admire the splendid Provencal panorama.
