Classified as a historical monument, Fort Sainte Agathe was built in the 16th century, during the reign of François 1er. You can visit it on your own or as part of a guided tour. Admission is charged to those aged 18 and over.

This is another historic monument you must visit on the island of Porquerolles. Built in the 17th century, it was designed to protect the island’s coastline. Fort Alycastre is not only on the list of Monuments Historiques, but also on that of the Conservatoire du Littoral.

Sainte-Anne church in Porquerolles

Sainte-Anne Church is new. Or rather, its transformation is. In the past, it was a military chapel built towards the end of the 19th century. A sort of sanitary refuge for soldiers. In 1929, the building was finally transformed into the church we know today.

How do I get to Porquerolles Island from Youcamp?

To get there, you need to head for the Tour Fondue, 1 hour from the campsite (79.2 km). The Tour Fondue is located to the south of the Giens peninsula. This is where you’ll find a boat to take you to Porquerolles.
