La route des Crêtes (difficult)

We’re off to a challenging start at the Cassis railway station(19.3 km from the campsite). It covers 32.2 km and takes 2 hours 41 minutes to complete. A good level of fitness is required.

Departing from the train station, you’ll pass a number of must-see sites, including the Grotte des Espagnols, the Falaises de Cassis, La Ciotat and, of course, the Route des Crêtes. At the end of the tour, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of Cap Canaille.

Col de la Gineste (difficult)

This is another not-to-be-missed route in Cassis, designed for experienced cyclists. The starting point is the local railway station(19.3 km from the campsite). Get ready to cover almost 54 km in 3 hrs 38 min. Once again, you’ll pass by the region’s most emblematic sites, including the Mémorial des Rapatriés d’Algérie, the Marégraphe, the Plage du Petit Nice Passedat, the Porte d’Orient and, of course, the Col de la Gineste.

Aussichtspunkt Cassis (intermediate)

This cycling route in Cassis is less demanding than the previous ones. It covers 12.8 km and can be completed in about an hour. It’s worth noting that some surfaces are asphalted. Departure is from the Albizzi bus station (approx. 17.5 km from the campsite). As with the first tour, you’ll discover sites such as the Grotte des Espagnols and the Falaises de Cassis.

Col du Pas d’Ouillier (intermediate)

The starting point is the Col du Pas d’Ouillier in Roquefort-La-Bédoule, not far from Cassis (7.6 km) and the campsite(12.6 km). It covers just over 9 km and can be completed in an hour. A number of beautiful discoveries await you: the Chapelle Saint-André, the Great Gravel Road, the Cabanon du Marquis and, of course, the Col du Pas d’Ouillier.

Discovering Cassis (easy)

We finish on a high note with this bike tour suitable for all levels. It’s 7.5 km long and takes around 30 minutes to complete. The route offers a great opportunity to discover the highlights of Cassis: the Phocaean city, the Provencal village, the Calanques, the port, the beaches… There’s no shortage of choice!
