The creeks
En-Vau cove
One of the best-known calanques in the region, but also one of the most difficult to access. But don’t let the 45-minute stroll stop you, as the Calanque d’En-Vau offers a relaxing environment well worth the detour.
The Méjean cove
You’ll find all the little wonders of the Mediterranean in this calanque, with its rocks, clear water and fine sand. To get there, you’ll have to walk to a small harbor, where you can put down your towel.
Morgiou cove
It’s the favorite cove of locals and tourists alike. Its colorful fishing port sets it apart from its neighbors. Its huge success means you can enjoy this idyllic spot as early in the day as possible.
Port Pin cove
Another calanque not to be missed during your stay in Marseille. Surrounded by resinous trees, it offers a connection with nature and a privileged moment of relaxation.
The calanque of Sormiou
Looking for a thrill? If you’re a rock-climbing enthusiast, the Calanque de Sormiou is the place to be. After the effort, the comfort, because you can also settle here to sunbathe in peace and quiet.
Sugiton cove
If you like snorkeling, the calanque de Sugiton is the place to stop. It features 2 small coves where you can don your mask and snorkel before diving into crystal-clear waters full of beautiful surprises.
